LBH: Complete Automatic Line for milling and sanding paintbrush handles

Fully automated machinery for the production of sanded wooden Brush Handles and similar items.
It consists of a milling machine model BS13 and a sanding machine model B1P installed in-line.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The loading of blanks is performed manually by piling rough wooden blocks into a feeding magazine.
The CNC milling machine performs the operations of side roughing and finishing, top and bottom finishing, drilling/countersinking and head finishing of the Handle.
These operations are performed in 11 stations, 8 of which are provided with CNC pairs of interpolated axes.
The Handles are then moved to the sanding machine and then held between two revolving centers which spin them and bring them in contact with the vertical, rotating abrasive belts in the rear of the machine.
As the handles slide along the abrasive belts, they achieve an excellent surface finishing.
At the end of the sanding cycle, the finished items are automatically released by the centers and then offloaded from the machinery.

FEATURES
This machine is extremely versatile: there is no limit for the number of items that can be produced.
The machine setup for product changeover involves simple mechanical adjustments and the selection of the item to be produced through the software interface.

OPTIONS
Upon request, the machine can be provided with an intermediate offloading unit for Handles which have not been sanded yet.
